The number one complaint we hear about other assessments - whether they cost a few dollars or several hundred or more - is "okay, I did that: now what?" (It can be worse: plenty just get "So what?")

And that is the problem that plagues assessments of all sizes and weights: they don't readily lend themselves to ongoing development. And no one likes just being put in a box; it is too much like being sentenced to life in jail.

No one ever said "now what?" after we debriefed their Birkman Signature Report; and that is simply because they have already seen one or two really key things they know they have to work on right away.

But it gets better: Birkman is not a tool that tells you that you are doing x wrong and y right. It is simply holding up a mirror that you can see yourself clearly in. It is actually your context that means that "this thing" or "that" is going to be more important to work on at the moment; and yes: your context keeps changing.

This means that no matter how often you come back to your report, it is always going to have something to say about how you operate in your current situation. We have worked with numerous people who are still using a Birkman Report they first completed 15 or 20 years earlier - and seen them get new insights!

Now you can of course retake the Questionnaire any time, but we recommend you give it at least 10 years. You are still going to see yourself in that mirror.

And it is uniquely you. Pass your report to a friend or loved one, and they are pretty likely to say something like, "You're kidding! Really? That's how you see things? I never would have guessed..." And you will be saying something similar when you look at theirs.

So when we say that you are going to see things that you will want to work on, they are probably going to be different from anyone else around you: uniquely you, remember!

Think of your Birkman.me as an invitation to draw water from a very deep well. Every bucketful is going to refresh you; and every time you think you have finally reached the bottom of the well, you will find the bucket is still going deeper.
